Request and Returns for Technology

Dear Parents and Guardians:

As the school year approaches, there are families who have chosen In School Learning or Remote Learning.  The following message will provide you with information regarding any requests for devices and the opportunity to return devices to Bells Corners Public School.

Requesting a Device for Remote Learning:

During the Learn at Home period we had several families who requested chromebooks and/or internet hotspots.  Families who have opted for remote learning are able to retain these devices if they still require them.

Students who have opted for remote learning and require a chromebook or internet hot spot please send an email request to [email protected] or [email protected]  and we will set up a scheduled time for pick up at the school when devices become available.

Returning Devices for In Person Learning:

Students who borrowed devices and are returning to In School  Learning are asked to bring the devices back to school along with power cords and adapters in a clear plastic bag on the first day of school.   If there are any performance issues or any physical problems with the devices, please leave a note with details of the issues in the bag with the device.

Chromebooks will be wiped down between use following a process recommended by Ottawa Public Health

Personal Chromebooks:

Students are welcome to bring their own chromebook or laptop to school if they wish.
