Our weeks leading up to the March Break have been filled with many learning opportunities and events at BCPS! Our Kinder team hosted a Winter Fun Day for families and students. The day was chilly but the students enjoyed the activities and the time outside! Our Junior grade 6 leaders hosted a Winter Activity Day. Students planned 8 activity stations where students were the instructors and guided students in grades K to 5 to the various activities. Student voice and leadership was visible throughout the day and it was wonderful to see the pride that students displayed in their initiatives. Mr. Balint and Ms. Devon hosted Bells Corners first in school chess tournament where 45 students demonstrated their strategic skills in the game of chess. Ms. Lagzdins & Ms. Hayward also hosted a dodgeball league where students from grades 3 to 6 competed every week in intramurals. What a week it has been at BCPS!
